How often should my solar system be serviced?
We recommend a full service once a year for most residential systems, and twice a year for commercial systems or those in dusty or high-output environments. Panel cleaning alone can recover 15–25% of lost generation — so the service pays for itself many times over in recaptured energy output.
Do you service systems you didn't install?
Yes. We service all brands and configurations. We’ll do an initial audit to establish a baseline for your system, then maintain it from there. Many clients come to us after their original installer stopped operating or became unresponsive — we’re happy to take over care of any system.
What does the performance report actually tell me?
The report shows your current system output versus its expected output at this point in its life, panel-by-panel string performance, inverter efficiency rating, any faults found and their severity, and recommended actions ranked by priority and cost impact. It’s a clear, plain-language document — not a technical readout.
What if a fault is found during the service visit?
Minor issues like loose connections or dirty contacts are resolved on the spot during the visit. For any component that requires replacement, we provide a written quote before proceeding — nothing is done without your approval. Service contract clients receive preferential pricing on all repair work.
Can I get a one-off service without a contract?
Absolutely. We offer single-visit services with no commitment required. That said, clients on annual contracts receive priority scheduling, discounted rates, and the benefit of year-on-year performance tracking. We’re happy to start with a single visit and let the work speak for itself.
